OAK CREEK, Wis. — The sun glistened off the silvery blades of ceremonial shovels as one group after another took turns posing in front of earth-moving equipment at the site of what is to be Crothall Laundry Services’ first built-from-the-ground-up facility.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place Aug. 11, and site preparation for construction of the $13 million plant in this community south of Milwaukee has since begun.

ATLANTA – Exhibit sales open next month for Clean ’09, the premier textile care industry trade show, scheduled for June 18-21, 2009, in New Orleans.

Riddle & Associates, the show’s longtime management firm, says the exhibitor prospectus will go out to Clean ’07 exhibitors the first week in May. Exhibitors at previous Clean Shows and others who have expressed interest in exhibiting will receive a prospectus later in the month.

ABILENE, Texas – The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) elected to consolidate 12 of the department’s laundries in the state into five large, regional wash rooms designed to provide clean laundry economically to their school and hospital customers for a number of years.
