CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Sailstar USA Inc., which offered laundry washer-extractors, drycleaning machines and finishing equipment in the United States, has ceased business operations, American Laundry News confirmed today.

China’s continued economic growth, improving living standards, and thriving tourism are generating a huge demand for sophisticated laundry and drycleaning systems, says Messe Frankfurt, organizer of the Texcare exhibitions.

BEIJING, China — Texcare Asia 2009, featuring more than 130 exhibitors in what organizer Messe Frankfurt is calling the “largest one yet,” opened here Wednesday at the China International Exhibition Centre.

Exhibitors from 17 countries and regions are represented in Hall 8 of the large exhibition hall complex. The Texcare Asia exhibition floor covers roughly 10,000 square meters (32,808 square feet).

BEIJING, China — China’s continued economic growth, improving living standards, and thriving tourism are generating a huge demand for sophisticated laundry and drycleaning systems here, says Messe Frankfurt, the trade fair organizer preparing for this month’s Texcare Asia.

The International Trade Fair for Modern Textile Care, slated for Oct. 28-30 at Beijing’s China International Exhibition Centre, will try to build on the success of Texcare Asia 2007. That event attracted more than 5,700 visitors to Shanghai to see more than 135 exhibitors.

Less than two years after Beijing played host, Shanghai will welcome the World Market for Modern Textile Care in September 2007, show manager Messe Frankfurt has announced.

New tax incentives for manufacturers and end-users of energy-efficient equipment, coupled with a tourism trade pushing up demand for laundry and drycleaning equipment, contribute to the increased frequency.
