RIPON, Wis. — Alliance Laundry Holdings LLC is reporting decreased revenue for the first quarter, which ended March 31, 2009.

Net revenues for the quarter decreased $13.5 million, or 12.3%, to $96.4 million from $109.9 million in the same period last year. Net income for this quarter increased $0.4 million to $2.3 million from $1.9 million in the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 was $13.5 million compared to $17.7 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008.

RIPON, Wis. — Alliance Laundry Holdings LLC is reporting increased revenue and income for the year ended Dec. 31, 2008.

Net revenues for full-year 2008 increased $17 million, or 3.8%, to $460.3 million from $443.3 million for 2007. Net income for 2008 was $15.5 million compared to $9.9 million for 2007. Adjusted EBITDA for 2008 increased $3.5 million to $72 million from $68.5 million for 2007.

I'm hearing a lot about microfiber towels and mops. What can you tell me about their performance compared to more well-established products? Are they processed differently in the laundry? How do they differ from cotton and other materials?
