FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany — Messe Frankfurt will premiere Texcare Forum Russia, the International Forum for Modern Textile Care, in Moscow Sept. 30-Oct. 1. The event will include a conference and exhibition area for Russian and international providers of laundry and textile-cleaning technology to show their products.

After the premiere, Messe Frankfurt, the German trade-fair company, along with the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre IEC Moscow, will organize Texcare Forum Russia once a year.

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany — The exhibit floor stayed busy Tuesday as Texcare International 2008 beat its 2004 attendance figures on the fourth day of its five-day run. Crowds are slowly dwindling today as the show — widely considered a success — heads for the finish line.

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany — After a successful weekend targeting drycleaners’ needs on the exhibition floor and in educational sessions, Texcare on Monday shifted its focus to on-premise and industrial laundries.

Laundry equipment traditionally takes up much of the exhibition space at Texcare, since some of the industry’s leading manufacturers are based in Germany. Companies including Black & White (Lapauw), Chicago Dryer Co., Jensen, Kannegiesser, Lavatec and Pellerin Milnor Corp. maintained substantial presences on the show floor.

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany — If early indications are correct, the 2008 edition of Texcare International will be the show’s most successful in years. It opened Saturday to crowds of industry professionals from throughout the world.

“The concept of Texcare as an independent forum for textile care is right on target,” says Detlef Braun, a board member of Messe Frankfurt, the management firm behind Texcare International and Texcare Asia. “We expect to welcome over 13,000 visitors from all over the world.”
