Main Laundry Aboard USS Roosevelt Installs Green Laundry Equipment

EAST BERLIN, Conn. — The main laundry onboard the aircraft carrier USS Roosevelt (CVN-71) recently received the U.S. Navy’s first complete ship set of ozone-powered washer-extractors, according to The EDRO Corp., the manufacturer that supplied the equipment.

In Memoriam: Edward S. Kirejczyk Jr., EDRO Corp. Chairman of the Board

EAST BERLIN, Conn. — Edward S. Kirejczyk Jr., chairman of the board of his family business, EDRO Corp., died Oct. 23 at the age of 71, the company reports.

Born in New Britain, Conn., in 1938, he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Hartford and served in the U.S. Army with the Pioneers, Company D — Third Training Regiment.

LAS VEGAS — The EDRO Corp. of East Berlin, Conn., has partnered with Jiangsu Sea Lion Machinery Group (Corp.) of Jiangsu, China, to promote the new CSL series washer-extractors designed, manufactured and assembled by both companies. The CSL series is debuting at the Clean Show.
