Perma Pad flatwork ironer padding, from Tingue, Brown & Co., is designed with a homopolymer acrylic fiber base that resists moisture buildup to help prevent the onset of hydrolysis, which weakens and ultimately destroys ordinary polyester fibers.
According to the company, reducing the potential to disintegrate or “powder out” will eliminate the need to replace deteriorating hydrolyzed ironer pads and safeguard linens, roll springs and the work environment from dust contamination, thus extending the pad’s performance life.
Designed for use on small-roll flatwork ironers, the Perma Pad is available in a 40-inch width and in custom sizes at a weight of 55 ounces per square yard.
