Anderson Chemical Co.
The INTEGRA System® from Anderson Chemical Co. is a patented chemical staging and delivery technology with a system-by-system approach for handling laundry, kitchen and housekeeping cleaning. These systems are fashioned around wall-mounted holders containing super-concentrated liquid chemistry in inverted one-gallon capsules.
Each capsule contains a Sur-Seal valve that is opened only when placed into the INTEGRA® holder or activator. The liquid flows into a reservoir from which it is pumped to the cleaning device. Once the inverted gallon capsule is empty, the operator still has an 8-ounce reserve to keep operations going. Capsules are recyclable.
Concentrated products keep costs low. Product formulas can be used in a three-, four-, or five-pump system and in all soil levels and water conditions.
Diamond Chemical Co.

Hydro Systems Co.
The Infinity™ system, from Hydro Systems Co., offers modular chemical dispensing. The system utilizes a serial communication protocol between all components, allowing for “real time” monitoring and exception reporting.
The Infinity™ pump module, along with the Infinity™ controller, use an application-specific, optimized drive train and motor drive logic to ensure accuracy when dispensing a product. A modular Universal Power Supply ensures scalable power capabilities to drive the entire system.
The modular concept allows for cost-effective scaling up or down of a number of products based on specific account requirements. When an additional product is needed, an operator snaps a new pump module on the mounting rail, connects the jumper and the pump is ready.
The Infinity™ is lightweight and uses less energy than a traditional on-premise laundry system.
The Infinity system can be used with Hydro’s new FM-600 Modular Flush Manifold to create a complete OPL system.
A new chemical technology is being offered by the Klipper Group, an alternative supplier of washroom chemicals. Enviromate™is an enzyme washroom chemistry surfactant product that both cleans textiles and reduces wastewater impurities. Enviromate has been scientifically proven to reduce biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and oil and grease, enabling commercial laundries to achieve environmental compliance goals. With Enviromate, wash quality is obtained with lower alkalinity and temperatures.
Used in the wash process, PROTEX 2000® Fluid Repellent from M&M Technologies reportedly renews and maintains the repellency of barrier fabrics used in surgical gowns, isolation gowns, wraps and drapes. It helps to reduce staining and protect the healthcare provider. The product also benefits hospitality linens, as well.
The company’s latest version, PROTEX 2000®-GR Fluid Repellent, works the same way as the original, according to the company, and is more efficient and environmentally friendly.
The loss of the original repellent finish on surgical gowns and most surgical linens can result in staining. PROTEX is the same finish altered slightly so it can be reapplied in the laundry process.
Metro-Chem Inc. now offers two new high-performance, neutral pH liquid laundry detergents in its existing line-up of products.
The first, “Acti-Solv,” is a complex detergent contains non-ionic surfactants, natural degreasers, oil de-flocculants, soil suspenders and a new laundry activator that increases activity of all elements within the wash process, according to the company.
Company research shows Acti-Solv helps in stain removal, enhances whiteness and brightness, offers the opportunity to lower wash temperatures and decrease bleach levels.
The second product, “Vision Green,” is a similar complex neutral detergent that is formulated with Non-NPE surfactants, which are more readily bio-degradable to help with green initiatives and waste-water regulations.
The company has put Vision Green through rigorous field testing on all linen, industrial uniform, hospitality and shirt laundry applications.
Norbrite® is a concentrated high-quality green detergent produced by Norchem Corp., which helps to reduce washroom chemical costs, save energy and water, and to help save the environment. This environmentally friendly product is designed for the healthcare, hospitality, linen and industrial laundries.
The detergent’s features, according to the company, also include reduction of bleach consumption, washability at lower temperatures, a reduced wash formula tie, and ability to remove oil, grease and protein-based stains.
Norchem also designed and manufactures the NORFLOW-WIN® system, automated chemical handling equipment that can be used in any laundry business. The systems can be equipped with any electric, self-priming, positive displacement pump and any stainless steel chemical valve or chemical delivery line.
A stainless steel chemical injection system, NORFLOW-WIN features a reliable delivery for both conventional and tunnel washers, says the company. NORFLOW-WIN delivers a pre-determined amount of chemicals, provides proof of delivery, lowers product waste, and delivers consistent wash quality. NORFLOW-WIN also features software and hardware capable of producing a real-time display of an entire washroom and chemical injection operation, and with the ability to generate accurate and custom reports such as chemical inventories, washroom production, chemical costs, down-time and more.
The pump system, according to company literature, eliminates the need for peristaltic and diaphragm pumps; offers chemical suction and discharge lines that are hard pipe; helps to minimize the possibility of a chemical leak; and injects chemicals by volume or time. The system also can be connected to remotely, via modem or the Internet.
NORFLOW-WIN is available in two versions: G3 for conventional washers, and G4 for tunnel washers.
Pariser Industries Inc. recently introduced CITRAZYME, a one-shot powdered detergent. CITRAZYME combines enzymes, a citrus-based degreaser – effective in the removal of oil and grease stains – and a safe-to-color oxygen bleach component, the adds a low-temperature bleach catalyst that has been tested to be effective in water temperatures of 115°-140°F.
Pre-treating of collars and cuffs is almost eliminated because of the citrus-based degreasing component.
CITRAZYME, according to the company, is effective in hard-water conditions and a broad range of temperatures found in on-premise laundries. It also can be used in a cold-water wash for a wide array of textiles including comforters, khakis and other garments that might be adversely affected by caustic or high temperatures.
