Metro-Chem Inc.

The first, “Acti-Solv,” is a complex detergent contains non-ionic surfactants, natural degreasers, oil de-flocculants, soil suspenders and a new laundry activator that increases activity of all elements within the wash process, according to the company.

Company research shows Acti-Solv helps in stain removal, enhances whiteness and brightness, offers the opportunity to lower wash temperatures and decrease bleach levels.

The second product, “Vision Green,” is a similar complex neutral detergent that is formulated with Non-NPE surfactants, which are more readily bio-degradable to help with green initiatives and waste-water regulations.

Pariser Industries Inc. recently introduced CITRAZYME, a one-shot powdered detergent. CITRAZYME combines enzymes, a citrus-based degreaser – effective in the removal of oil and grease stains – and a safe-to-color oxygen bleach component, the adds a low-temperature bleach catalyst that has been tested to be effective in water temperatures of 115°-140°F.

Pre-treating of collars and cuffs is almost eliminated because of the citrus-based degreasing component.

CITRAZYME, according to the company, is effective in hard-water conditions and a broad range of temperatures found in on-premise laundries. It also can be used in a cold-water wash for a wide array of textiles including comforters, khakis and other garments that might be adversely affected by caustic or high temperatures.
