Laundry Supervisor, DCH Regional Medical Center
Applications currently being accepted for a full-time Laundry Supervisor. Responsibilities to include managing the daily work activities of assigned Laundry personnel and ensuring established production requirements, processing procedures and all assignments are followed. Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitors work load, making adjustments as needed to compensate for peak / slack time.
- Inspect completed work for acceptable quality and quantity.
- Communicates with all employees, supervisors and management.
- Effectively communicates clear and concise goals and leads by example to ensure those goals are met daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.
- Counsel employees exhibiting unsatisfactory work performance and recommend appropriate disciplinary action for continued unsatisfactory work performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- At least two years Laundry Supervisory experience in a commercial or health care setting, preferred.
- Good leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and lead by example.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
