ALEXANDRIA, Va. — With more than 200 registered for the Textile Rental Services Association’s (TRSA) 2009 Tech/Plant Summit, slated for March 3-5 in Phoenix, Ariz., the association has added more educational sessions to broaden the scope of the Summit and include more classes on green marketing.
In addition to the 23 educational sessions already planned, the Summit will now include sessions on rebranding a company as “green,” as well as TRSA’s and the Uniform and Textile Service Association’s (UTSA) Clean Green initiative, which promotes the environmental benefits of textile services. A third session will deal with enhancing customer service in order to help maintain a strong client relationship in the current economic climate.
Dr. Jeffrey Dietrich of the Institute for Trend Research will teach operators how to find opportunity in a down economy, and Terry Mathis, president and founder of ProAct Safety Inc., will talk about how enhancing safety improves a company’s bottom line. Mathis is a former director of training for Coca-Cola, where he developed several new approaches to safety.
TRSA has negotiated a group rate of $204/night plus taxes at the Summit’s host hotel, the Glendale Renaissance Hotel & Conference Center. You can reserve a room by visiting www.marriott.com/phxgr (Group Code: PLAPLAA) or by calling 800-468-3571.
The cost of Summit registration is $559 for TRSA/UTSA members ($509 for each additional attendee), $439 for TRSA/UTSA operator members and $1,499 for non-members.
