NEW ORLEANS — New parts packages introduced by Talley Machinery Corp. at Clean ’09 combine the key flatwork ironer parts that most commonly require repair or replacement in a single kit to ensure the proper parts are on site and ready for immediate installation during a rebuild or upgrade.
Pre-positioning needed parts at a laundry plant enables a project to quickly move forward without interruption, rather than ordering parts from the warehouse after work has already begun and awaiting their arrival, Talley Machinery says.
The new parts packages may include gears, sprockets, chains, roll boxes, steam traps, side covers, dog bones, pork chops and other parts, as well as the company’s signature upgrades, the right hand drive conversion and roll raising rig.
Each package is customized based on the ironer model specifications, volume of production, type of fabric typically pressed, and other factors. They are available on all American Ironer flatwork ironers in commercial laundries and on-site laundries serving healthcare, hospitality, institutional, industrial and other facilities.
Any unused part may be returned to Talley Machinery for full credit, the company says.
