ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Wash-aisle safety and facilitating sales will be the subjects of morning seminars to be hosted in May by Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA) member laundries in New Orleans and Chicago.
The Cintas Corp. plant in New Orleans will host Wash Aisle Safety: Semi-Automated Solutions on May 10, and The Roscoe Co. will play host to Developing and Facilitating Effective Sales Contests at its Chicago headquarters on May 25. Both are older facilities that were recently renovated, TRSA says.
Participants in the Cintas seminar will learn how to cost-effectively enhance wash-aisle safety for semi-automated industrial laundry facilities from managers, engineers and safety staff responsible for ensuring occupational safety and health at the plant level.
The Roscoe seminar, conducted with the Midwest Textile Services Association, will help participants learn to positively impact business development and profitability through sales contests.
Attendees will take a hands-on tour of Roscoe’s recently upgraded facility (the 100-year-old building received an image makeover and $4 million plant consolidation and overhaul) and speak with staff regarding production and performance improvements that provide direct return on investment.
Other short-format meetings are planned for Boston (Aug. 9), New York (Sept. 7) and Atlanta (Nov. 9). TRSA members are welcome to invite colleagues from non-member companies to attend, the association says.
