CHICAGO — The profitability of any restaurant is ultimately dependent on the dining experience of its customers. Efficient operations play a major role, and the element that pulls everything together is largely design.
Attendees at next month’s 2010 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show® here at McCormick Place will have an exclusive opportunity to receive one-on-one design consultation services from leading experts, including three companies that offer back-of-the-house expertise in laundry services.
“Guests choose restaurants not only based on great food, but also because of customer service and dining-room ambiance, and optimized restaurant design can enhance those areas,” says Ira Cohn, convention chair and president of ARAMARK Business and Industry Group. “The Ask the Design Experts service at NRA Show 2010 will offer unique opportunities to receive free advice from leading designers and management advisory consultants that will improve your business.”
Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) member companies will provide personalized solutions to pre-registered attendees in 30-minute, first-come, first-served consultations.
Participating firms that offer laundry design services include Cini Little International, Ricca Newmark Design and Landmark Design. Representatives from Cini Little and Ricca Newmark will be available for consultations on Sunday, May 23, and Landmark Design personnel will be available Monday, May 24.
Appointments may be made through the NRA Show website, http://show.restaurant.org (click “Events & Attractions,” then “Ask the Design Experts”).
More than 1,800 companies will be exhibiting during the May 22-25 show. Scheduled exhibitors include companies that manufacture or supply laundry equipment; uniforms; hospitality and rooms linen; laundry chemicals; linen carts; delivery trucks; and linen supply/rental services.
