LOS ANGELES — David Bernstein, president of Consolidated Laundry Machinery Co. (CLM), has left the company effective June 29. His departure has been planned for some time, the company says in a press release, and other key long-term employees have assumed his duties.
Bernstein “is relocating his family to Park City, Utah, in order to serve the critical needs of his wife and children,” CLM says.
He joined the company as vice-president in 1997 and was promoted to president in 2002.
“CLM just completed an enormously successful Clean Show and is very well positioned for continued success,” he says.
“We are certainly sorry to see David leave CLM, but we understand and respect his decision,” says Leonard Bernstein, CLM’s founder and chairman who once again assumes the title of president. “We wish him and his family the very best.”
Carolyn Landsperg, vice president and general manager, takes over David Bernstein’s other duties.
CLM, now in its 45th year, manufactures dryers, towel folders, mat rollers and material-handling systems.
